I'm actually relieved that the article wasn't about our open frustration regarding Keehn not getting the job done

Between Wing, Keehn, and Bennie Simmons, is LSU the most popular US university down under?

Don't forget Josh Growden.

But LSU isn't well known down under, places like UCLA, Stanford, Harvard, UC Berkeley, are much better known.

LSU has gotten a lot of press lately, especially since Brad Wing.

A guy flew in for an LSU game earlier in the year. Sidney, Australia direct to Denver (15 1/2 hrs), to Houston, then to Baton Rouge. (He's the one sent me this link.) Had him join us at our tailgate. He even brought some beer direct from Australia for us--Victoria Bitters.

Btw, he said no one drinks Fosters in Australia.

My Cousin lives in Melbourne Australia and has become an LSU fan like many others over there because of the kickers. He visited this past Christmas and he and his wife insisted we visit TS for photo. He stays up or wakes up in the middle of the night to watch games live and cooks Gumbo and makes his own Boudin. Oz loves The Boot!

The food board will tell you no one drinks Bud-Light.

its true though nobody in Oz drinks Fosters, knows that the Outback is a restaurant or throws a shrimp on a barbie, tho they may chuck a prawn on a grill

You got that right!
I vacation two times a year in Sydney, a beautiful city. I've seen more than a few LSU caps in the city, although probably not from Australian fans. If you ever get a chance to go there, you really should. The exchange rate at the moment is very favorable to the dollar.

Also, if you're a wine drinker, the Hunter Valley wine tour is the best. And no one in Australia drinks Yellow Tail, either!
