I think Kitna starts for Detroit. He is from Central Washington.

He is just like any other big time player at a small school. He was either overlooked by the "big boys" or they wanted him to play another position because they thought he was too small. The man wanted to play QB, so he is. Obviously he is better than a lot of D-1A quarterbacks but he isn't going to transfer and lose a year just to play with the "big boys." I asked this question the other day when this was brought up, Hatch started his career at Harvard, is he so much better than Edwards just because he is at LSU now? If you had your choice of Edwards transfering to LSU or some guy from Harvard, who would you have taken?

He wasn't offered anything from anybody except for App. If you read my post, it says that he was possibly intersted in Clemson or USC, but they wouldn't take him.

scout.com shows an offer from New Mexico St.

It was during their discussion of whether or not he would get Heisman votes...I hadn't heard it either, but thought it was interesting

Doesn't this make the first poster's point?

But if you are that good, WHY NOT go from being a big fish in a small pond to a BIG fish in a big pond?

Because at the school's that already have established QBs, he's probably just going to sit on the bench. Unless the coach wants to have a "compeition" between the two. I don't see some coaches doing that...

And why would you leave a team that has established themselves at their level and win championships, to go to a team that could MAYBE make a bowl game...And if they did make the bowl game, who the hell cares because there are 1000000of them

i agree that he is talented enough to play D-1, but the mich game was just one game against a D-1 school. what if he had to play 12 games a year against these powerhouses at 175lbs.

people question how long tebow can do it... hes as big as a linebacker.

i would question armanti's durability. if he does to lsu what he did to mich, then i might be convinced.

He was wanting to go to either Clemson or USC since he is from SC, but neither wanted him as QB right our of high school because of his size. I think USC might not have wanted him for anything and Clemson said maybe a WR.

Very strange that schools from opposite shore lines wanted this kid. I suspect being from SC, he wanted to escape the intense urban plight that has gripped southern California. Either that or he just couldn't surf. I wonder if Pete Carroll wishes he had shown a little more interest in the kid.

If it's to me...I don't follow?
