i don't doubt he popped right back up. but he hurt the other guy? yea right.

watch our 2nd NC game against UMASS, Armanti takes a huge hit from James Ihedigbo their FS,(currently with the Jets) and it didn't even phase him
the safety was probably the best defensive player on their team too

Wouldn't last in the SEC. Too much speed on defense and DC's that know how to defense "Athletic" QB's. Stack the line with 8 and make him have to pass/read defenses and it's all over. Dude would eventually wind up with a concussion......

um dude can throw really well too and with 5 possible recievers out there its not something to overlook.

why do you think its so difficult for d-coordinators to defend the spread?

Armanti's most revealing stats: 6'0" 175#

Here's a preview of what he'll look like against LSU or in the NFL:

Because it opens up running and passing lanes wheere they otherwise wouldnt be. Works if you have the right personnel to run it. DCs will adjust by blitzing like crazy and putting a spy on a mobile QB. Wont stop all big plays but will create offensive mistakes and turn overs.

what does physics have to do with being Iaa?

a 6'3' 250 LB is the same size in IAA as he is in IA

Look, Armanti's going to make some plays and he's a great college QB. I will agree there. Hard to argue with his resume. But youre drinking some appy moonshine if you think he's gonna be a durable running QB in the NFL

who said NFL?

maybe if he hits 215lbs. which isnt that unreasonable if he can make it to 195-200 by the end of the 09 season. but still if he goes pro it more than likely be for reciever

it has everything to do with your 175# qb running over people.

either the guy he is running over is small. or he made a poor attempt at a tackle.

My point is Armanti's success at QB is due to his being a big fish in a little pond. He is a great Div 1AA QB and could succeed at most Div 1A, but his real carreer won't start until next year. He probably hurt his chances of getting a high pick by playing QB.

Against LSU, he'll be up against basically a future NFL front 7. It will be an eye opener for him.

In I-AA that guy runs a 5.2, at LSU that guy runs a 4.7

Just saying

no he was just moving a hell of a lot faster down field and instead jumping out of bounds like a puss, he opted for the 4-5 extra yds.

next year? why next year?

or maybe he runs a 4.6 but since he only played a small private highschool in bumblefrick he was overlooked by IA schools.

that would be totally unbelievable right?

oh wait it happens all the time.
