Maybe he will get a chance to return one. However, It is highly unlikely considering what the LSU punt team has done all year. The Fact is that the LSU punt coverage is GREAT and has been all year.
Most of the time, the coverage team is around the ball when it comes down. Most return guys will call for fair catch in this situation. This doesn't mean that they are kicking it short. It means that our coverage team is able to get there on time.
If Adams gets a cushion and has a chance at a return, I'll be watching, but I doubt he can bust it. Several defensive starters and skill guys play on the coverge team for LSU.

So that means he's 13 returns for 69 yards for the rest of the season. That's 5.3 yards per return. Those are amazing stats.
Arkansas' special teams coach even said Adams only has a chance to return 1 out of every 4 punts.

sorry last time i was in a little bit of a rush to type, seeing im at work, but i will gladly take my time for you. Lets see,...
Dennis Johnson
Ole Miss: 15 - 160
Vandy: 9 - 52
USC: 15 - 86
Tenn: 11 - 97
Miss State: 14 - 98
A&M: 8 - 54
BAMA: 3 - -3
well by those stats alone i can tell you that he is a very good rusher... against teams with horrible defenses, those -3 yard scare me (ooooooh). Now when we look at the RB that have faced us, i tend to see a little pattern when it comes to running. Lets take the best two RB in the nation
Trent Richardson: 23 - 89
LaMichael James: 18 - 54
now can you explain what makes him soooooo good? ill be waiting....

FYI Blue got 74 yards on 4 carries against the mighty Ole Miss defense, and that would equal 18.5YPC

Really? You want to throw a 3 rush game against Bama in there, ok. How about your starter Ware's line: 16 attempts, 29 yards, 1.8 ypc.
How about you try watching DJ run if you want to see how good he is? Those teams with good RB's that you've faced don't also possess the passing game the Hogs bring so good luck stacking the box.

oh so they dont posses good passing games huh, well Aj Mcarron has a higher completion percentage and Darron Thomas has pretty much the same completion as Wilson, but a better QB rating. As far as BAMA go look at Fords YPC, and do yourself a solid and shut up. Look you can get all pissy and what not but all your doing is making an arse of yourself infront of the rant. We all know what its like to think your team can beat a better one, but im sorry to break it to you not this year. Your defense is horrible, your offense is one dimensional, and your special team has had 2 good games to give your PR good stats. So please stop embarrassing yourself and go play around on the SEC rant, and get off the Tiger Rant. Have a good one and i dont expect to see you here after Friday lol

No way your smack talking punter kicks a normal punt to Joe.
No way our swag-possessing punter kicks a normal punt, anyway. None of them are normal. They're all designed to negate your ability to do anything with them.
You realize that we have less than a YARD per punt-return on average? Do you think that's a function of just our punter? Do you not realize we have an outstanding punt coverage unit, as well? You can't possibly be that myopic to think that it hinges solely on the punter & the returner. Can you?

You gotta field a punt to return it.
Good luck, Hawgs.
Good luck, Hawgs.

Arkansas gives up nearly 11 yards per punt. LSU gives up less that 1 yard per punt.
One thing that Wing does not do is to out kick his coverage, which is why the LSU gives up less than 1 yard per punt.
Arkansas better worry about punting to the Honey Badger.
