1 If he out kicks his coverage Joe has the ability and Miles knows it. Goodness he's the AA just like Peterson was last year. You don't make that mistake.
2 If he kicks short your D by the stats is good enough to handle a little field position stress.
By posting that, you definitely have never watched him kick.
1. The only time I remember him out kicking the coverage all year was the 73 yard punt against Bama.
2. He usually kicks it so it lands between the 20-10 yard line. I wouldn't call that kicking it short.

I must stop you here... To say Adams is on par with PP in punt returns... is, well just fricking retarded

Wing will punt it wherever he wants to and joe Adams will have to deal with it.
There will be a lot of fair catching and pinning Arkansas inside the 20.

130 yards and 2 TDs came against the Missouri St Teddy Bears so your stats you provided are misleading. In other words GTFO

Joe will have bad dreams for years of HB7 and RB13, and he better hope Mr Landry dont have a Auburn relapse

The other TD was a 60 yard return against a crappy Tennessee. That would be 190 total return yards against 2 horrible teams.
So that means he's 13 returns for 69 yards for the rest of the season. That's 5.3 yards per return. Those are amazing stats.

The strategy by most have been high and short forcing no return so not many shots but you screw up and he'll make you look stupid. No way your smack talking punter kicks a normal punt to Joe.
Wing does not kick "normal" punts. Adams is a perfectly good return guy, but the difference LSU has is when we "don't" kick to a team we kick it out of bounds at the 5.

Joe Adams on the year:
16 punt returns for 259 yards. 16.2 avg.
If we exclude the 1st game against SW Missouri State, Joe Adams punt return stats are:
(remove 6 returns, 174 yards)
10 returns, 85 yards. 8.5 avg.
Good, but not anywhere near other-worldly.
(remove the 1 freakish punt return for 60 yard TD against a Tennessee team that couldn't tackle Betty White in ankle-cuffs)
9 returns, 25 yards. 2.77 avg per punt return.

did he really compare joe adams to patrick peterson?

You Rantards keep thinking Joe isn't a phenomenal punt returner. Just kick it to him.

that seems to be the consensus thought is that we will and you shall see Joe will either not touch the ball or fair catch it cause he knows HB7 & RB13 will be coming to lay him on his arse and most likely force a fumble for a td lol

Joe isn't scared of anybody. Maybe you forgot the last time in BR where he got rocked, only to stand up right after while (I believe it was Jackson) laid there with sand in his vag. Somebody better tell Wing to keep his head on a swivel because he's going to be needed to assist in trying to bring Joe down.

I love this smack talk about your punter, this is great. Ok yes PP was the best ever and we've absolutely loved playing him in fact we've loved watching your all world corner chasing or diving for our wrs when they crossed the goal line. If you must have video evidence I will be happy to provide.
So remind me which one of your secondary guys is better than PP or didn't play last year? I seriously don't know.
Oh and yes we know your going to kill us, make us bleed, beg for mercy

lol and i can almost promise you once you loose and realize that Joe did nothing for you and that the fact yall have an abscence of a RB will give us more time to pressue the QB and drop a few more in coverage that your pass happy offense wont do a damn thing, thats why its good to have people who can run and people who can catch, not just one so throw the ball and see what happens
Posted on 11/23/11 at 11:41 am to Bosethus68
I have a feeling we'll be kicking off more than punting anyway. Which in turn scares me due to kick off coverage. Its a vicious cycle

God damnit.
1) LOSE, not "loose"
2) Dennis Johnson averages 6.7 ypc, more than any of your RB's. 148 rushing yards pg in a predominanty passing offense does not mean we lack a running game.
3) I'm not sure what your last point was, try again. Only, make it English this time.
