Wont matter much but I'd rather play a lame duck than an interim who gets the team fired up.

That’s crazy. They should’ve given him more time IMO. I know they’re bad this year, but Big Bret left a huge hole for them

Two big buyouts. The Waltons will be getting an unwelcome phone call.

As long as Chavis is still DC, Burrow is going in dry.

This is a bad move. I actually agreed with fsu dropping taggert. Morris has a field full of freshmen and sophomores because the dumpster fire he inherited. If i am an up and coming big name coach, i do not want to go there.

Terrible move by the Pig administration!!! Coach needed more time to get HIS players in. Ar-Kansas should've given him a 10 year extension instead of showing him the door. If the Pigs were smart they never ever should've fired the fat guy coach and his hot wife to begin with.

Shades of 2017. The Tigers played Arkansas, Tennessee and A&M all with either interim or lame-duck coaches, and beat the living tar out of all of them. And that was a 2017 team with Etling!

Sometimes your biggest contributing boosters put on too much pressure. One on those tail wagging the dog things. That said, he should have been given one more season before considering a decision of that magnitude. Then again, perhaps the current administration didn't want to continue the direction the then interim AD had set with this hire. After all, she did leave not long thereafter.

Shades of Curley Hallman. I remember the new coach said in his first season (1991) that he would need 5 years to make LSU a contender. Well, he was fired during his fourth season. We'll never know what Curley would have accomplished if he had been allowed to fulfil his early promise.

Arkansas now realizes what a mistake getting into the SEC was just from a competitive standpoint. Baseball is now their #1. 2 decades ago it was 3, maybe even 4.
