Jobert always has those random 2 homer games on the last game of a series. Florida and Vandy last year, game 3 of the tournament earlier this year when we all freaked out when he hit 2nd.

He’s hurt. And frick all the Jobert haters. One of only 5 guys to get a hit yesterday and it was a piss rod. Barreled up a couple hard foul balls too. He Kd a couple of times—who didn’t, we had 15?—but he worked counts and had a few good ABs. Didn’t bail out or look completely lost like Jones or White.
Came in cold today and did his job to end the game. He’s not gonna be an every day guy once Kling gets healthy, but he will have a role on this team for the rest of the season. He’ll strike out some and get some big hits. His BA sucks, but his OPS is in the .900s. There’s not a better option tonight that can play LF and be a power-hitting LH threat against a RHP at the bottom of the lineup.
And he plays for LSU. Perhaps we could get over shitting on him every single time his name is posted.

No worries. I have my rally socks and, if things get desperate, my rally tennis outfit. But I almost died of pneumonia last time I used that one so it’s reserved for true emergencies only.
