You won't find many friends on here but I can sympathize with what you are saying. I have been making payments to LSU that are more than many peoples entire house payments for a year. I don't say that to brag, but it just shows the difference in the way people think if you take down the priority system. It's like if bank vaults were left open and unattended. Certain people would pay not attention and certain others would fill their pockets and then some.

I have sat in 103 my entire life and will be there in Saturday, and I can't imagine the clowns that I will be sitting next to.

Let the name calling commence, but I speak for a lot of people who don't spend time on a message board.

What? I'm using my tickets I bought on the West Sideline.

I never said you weren't using your tickets. I never said anything to you. You came in trying to white knight for people acting like dumbasses so I replied to your comments that you made apparently thinking I was ignorant to what was going on. For the record a lot of people think they are profiting from this situation and even more are feel that they are making a profit by taking the seats that others usually occupy which is fine. Just don't come on here and go ape shite bragging about where you are sitting and going crazy like they won the lottery.

You both need to get over yourselves, you're acting like just as big of a d-bag as the people bragging about grabbing tickets that usually belong to someone else.

When I first got tickets in my name I had the choice of getting tickets in the lower bowl with a TAF fee, lower bowl with no fee, or East Upper with a TAF fee. No one had even heard of a Tradition Fund yet. I chose to sit in the East Upper with a TAF fee because I think the old part of the stadium is a dump. The fact that I didn't end up near arrogant assholes like you has been an added bonus.

Just read through the thread. Just came to say I hope you have a terrible time Saturday and if things play out right I hope you get chronic diarrhea as well. Good day, sir

The arrogance in this instance for me is intended. This whole situation has felt like rabid dogs devouring a carcass. I feel I said more than was needed but this one has definitely struck a nerve with me for some reason. I'll gladly withdraw from TD for the night and go put my big girl panties back on.

I love the fact that I was not able to buy the seats my family has had for 70+ years and somebody else gets to sit there. Only problem is the person that bought them is trying to sell them on Stub hub for $150.00 per ticket!

no one came out like rabid dogs. I don't know why you are so offended about this situation but I'll be sure to enjoy your misery while I'm too fricked up to walk out the stadium at half time.

I mean no offense or ill-will to anyone losing their traditional seats, but people really need to relax about this.

This week the game was intended to be in South Carolina. You did not pay for any seats this game. You had no plans to be in Tiger Stadium this weekend. It is in Tiger Stadium solely because it was logistically a nightmare for any big event to happen in Columbia, SC.

So, for this one-time event, a lot of seats are "fair game". Oh, well... deal with it. If you planned on watching from home and now want to go see it live, you have to fend for yourselves; some apparently got better seats, some got worse. Try to remember, you weren't going to get this chance even as late as Tuesday.

Now, for those who made plans for the away-game trip, that does suck. It would have been nice if somehow those guys got the best seats, since they are likely put out the most. And all of this pales in comparison to what the SC ticket holders are going through.

My advice- go to the game and enjoy yourselves.

I can understand why the people who have suite tickets are protected and get to sit in their suite because they have to pay to stock it with alcohol for the season and it stays in there for the season and I think they may have some form of ownership in the suite. But why do the stadium club people get to keep their seats? Their seats are essentially no different then any seat in the stadium. Except for the ability to purchase alcohol in that area. If stadium club has the ability to buy their own seats then so should everyone else. It easily could have been done giving season ticket holders the option to purchase their seats until noon tomorrow. Then releasing unpurchased seats to season ticket holders who wish to upgrade from noon till 6 pm tomorrow. Lastly releasing the reminder of the tickets to the general public.

Pretty sure hey have stadium accounts to purchase food and alcohol. That probably has something to do with it.

My section wasn't available so I got in 303 also. Slightly better as my usual seats are in 300. Looks like we'll all be making new friends on Saturday.

Because they pay $5000/yr for the right to sit in those seats. I do agree the method is odd and all season ticket holders should have had the right to buy their seats...but the Stadium Club is a hefty premium.
