Are you high, or just incredibly stupid?

So you have no one to use as evidence to backup your assertion that BA w RISP is a valuable stat?

LINK
here is one of many links where you can read up on the great stat of ba/risp

For all we know, chinea will be hitting .300 ba/risp in 3 weeks

Obv Paul is high and stupid as well?
Posted on 3/16/15 at 10:39 pm to Lsubaseball2000
Id say he is pretty smart. Despite chinea awesome ba/risp he moved him down the lineup

Thanks for quoting another manager using it and seeing the importance of it.

What are you talking about? I quoted zero managers.

After that response, the answer to the question you posed at the top of the page is "incredibly stupid"
Posted on 3/16/15 at 10:42 pm to RATeamWannabe
I assure you........he is not high.

It really was good stuff. Also found similar info in a book called the baseball economist. They touch on a few flawed stats and other common misconceptions within the game.

I have a lot of sports books on my reading list, may need to add that one

Matt Williams had the first quote in that link. Lol
quote:
“My favorite stat right now and always has been the stat of hitting with runners in scoring position… [B]atting average and on-base percentage and all of those things are great, but who is doing damage and how can they hit with guys in scoring position? I don’t know if I can help guys with that, but that’s the stat that I’m most concerned with, that I like the most. So do, I care whether a guy’s hitting .250 as opposed to .280? No, I care whether he can drive a run in.” Matt Williams

Good for matt. Read the rest of it.

I'm gonna take a managers word on it over a freelance writer/blogger.

He's asking you to back up the assertion you made.
Why can't you do that?
Now you're essentially saying that every stat should be ignored in favor of RISP. That's just idiotic. Why not use it as part of the equation instead of the entire equation

You do that. Managers definitely dont make mistakes. Theyve always looked at advanced stats when making decisions.
