The bottom line is:

Everything I say on this board I feel quite comfortable with saying to your face.

Because I'm not saying anything untrue or disrespectful

I'd like to see some of you say the things you type on this board out in public.

Oh? Show me some things I have typed on this board? Please, I am waiting.

Like I said before, there are racists--and there are those who defend the racists.

You would have a made good sheriff in one of those Louisiana towns.

Like Manchac--or hell, even Metairie.

but I know they are thinking it, and they skirt around coming out and saying what they are thinking.

This is where we disagree. This is an anonymous message board. Why would someone not be more free in expressing themselves on here, than in public? Just say whats on your mind.

It gets really old when posters call someone out for liking A over B. Flynn led us to a GD championship, and Russell hasnt lived up to his #1 status, but of course your racist to point that out. BS. Those are the facts.

The same thing with RP and Flynn, except the colors were reversed. Ppl were actually wanting to see a lot more of RP, and we all see how that turned out. Now that hes been kicked off one team, and suspended from another, you've got to question why they wanted RP over the BCS MVP? Was it only because of his skin color?

Probably, but so what if it was? Ppl need role models. Role models that look like them. But your role model doesnt have to look like the other guys role model. If Russell, Peterson, Ciron, Keiland inspire some kid to greatness, fantastic! But you know what? You've also got to expect that someone will be inspired by Flynn, Hester, Faneca, and Cutrera.

The problems begin when we tell each other what to think, and why. Then claim racism if we dont get the answer we demand.

OK, I'm done now

Just for clarification, I am a racist because in your eyes I defended people that you labeled racist? Yet I can claim you being a racist since you wish to label people so quickly for comments you think are racist. Yet you can deny it and everything is ok, but if someone you labeled a racist were to deny it is not?

Just trying to clarify the logic you are using in these labels you have placed on certain people.

Now that we have determined once you place a stamp on someone they are that, can we move along?

don't want to be known as a racist?

quote:

Flynn led us to a GD championship,

if pitt doesn't beat west virginia, LSU doesn't go.

FACT.

flynn's squad lost two games

russells squad lost two games

FACT.

and Russell hasnt lived up to his #1 status

he plays on a shitty team with shitty receivers and shitty offensive linemen. what do you want him to do?

at least he's starting. what's flynn doing?

RP = talented QB who was/is really dumb and had major character issues.

what? the team wanted flynn over RP, there was no debating that.

What does any of this have to do with someone calling someone "Sambo"?

Once again--blatant racism conveniently ignored to keep the boat sailing smoothly.

Okay then.

Just walk outside right now and call the first Black person you see, "Sambo".

If the person is fine with it, then obviously I'm the racist.

Did I ever use the term "sambo"
Hell you are asking a message board with 10,000+ people on it. I would be willing to bet that more than half of them have no freaking clue what it means honestly.

So if he was ignorant and used does that still make him racist or just stupid?

BT ROBOB

JJ 11-19, 172 yards, 3 tds no Ints. only threw the ball 19 times.

You just cannot admitt you are wrong!

JL never had a game this good. Not even against Tulane, at home.

Good post, Offdacorner.

Slacker is conveniently ignoring the words typed and trying to say that it's about having differing opinions based on players' abilities.

Sambo and alot of other crap that BT has said has nothing to do with who is playing better QB for LSU. It just helps to understand why he makes the ridiculous comments about JJ that keeps putting us in a position to win. Trying to understand his position and referring to his many race-related comments is the reason he's being called out.

It has nothing to do with disagreeing about players, but a person's motivation. With many, it's clear that they don't think that JJ is all that good. That's fine. However, with a few posters, it's obvious why they take that position.

No one that really wants to win will keep calling for a guy that's putting up numbers and limited mistakes to get hurt so they could have the backup come in. Especially after last season. Miles is trying to keep his job, by winning, not experiment to see if someone has improved.

Note: If RP doesn't play well and lead us past Tenn in the SECCG, Flynn doesn't get a chance to start or play in the BCSCG. You sound like Florida fans that forget that Leak was their QB in 2006, yet Tebow has led them to 2 NC's.
