There no evidence that he “saved the season” but yes I love Burrow and I think he’s a very good college QB. He just isn’t used correctly and is stuck in an offense that was literally built from the ground up this spring. I’m not even gonna put it on Ensminger because what he was asked to do was damn near impossible.

Hopefully with the additional depth at qb next year we see more designed runs with him. He was best when the rushing threat was there.

He's competent in his role.

I think there's a lot of truth here and my hope is that year 2 will be much better. I don't see a change being made at this point.

If he was at OSU, they would be in the playoffs

You do realize that OSU had a QB that threw for 47 TDs this year right? A Heisman finalist...

Hard to evaluate your new race car driver when he is driving an offense 30 years behind the top competitors

Your post demonstrates you have never played football at any competitive level. There was ALOT of bad around Burrow starting with the O-line.

Nuff said......

He’s not the best, but he plays with a lot of confidence and swagger. I think he’s a perfect fit for LSU.

Had we started Brennan. We definitely lose to Auburn. Probably lose to Miami.

The confidence and lead ship Burrow gave this team was huge.

Rohan Davy before the season laid it out pretty well.. he said it would take Burrow half a season to get up,to speed and that we would see what he had in the second half.

He improved. He made plays no LSU QB has made in years.

Is he Tom Brady. No. Is he a solid SEC QB very much so. So,Tua and From(maybe) are better. Fromm certainly was not better on October 13 in BTR. Who else is better? Our line was so challenged and WR sominexperienced what was done was outstanding.

When Burrow raised the “L” after the Florida pre-game fight, he showed leadership, poise, and was not going to back down. He had his teammates back and it showed virtuously.

Madking-Name me another QB on the roster that would have made the throw to Dillon in the Auburn game. That ONE throw catapulted the season IMO.

Considering everything, I think he did a good job. It's easy to always say we could do better at the position, but considering everything, I thought he did a great job. We had new receivers, new RBs and our OL was banged up all season. When you take that into consideration, Burrow did a good job. I'm looking forward to seeing him perform with a more seasoned offense and a better OL in front of him. He can definitely improve but considering the overall picture, he proved he could play against the best in the country!

Not really, I think he is average at best. Just review where Burrow was ranked in the SEC in passing. Burrow and Etling are equal in ability and passing accuracy.

Well he's never taken my car in the middle of the night, never lied to me about his report card, and he never pissed on the rug that ties my room together so yea, I'm "happy" with JB. WTF is this place, is a kid or a dog? Are you happy with Burrow? Motherfricker, you don't even know Burrow. He is a kid that place football for a team you like. WTF

Burrow did pretty well in what I consider lsu's least talented starting offense since the 90's

Burrow was the best QB on this team since Mettenberger...and that included Danny Etling from last years team...just being here trying to learn LSU offense in such a short time was a big feat... he won the Auburn game hands down and defeated a Georgia team that won the East and played in the SEC Championship game...this year would have been a disaster if he didn’t commit to Play for LSU...coaches knew it and the fans did too...now that he has a season as a starter and another spring to get even better I think we are going to see a much improved QB for 2019 season....
