It depends who’s available or who we make available in the next portal window

So you’re comfortable with one entire position for next season being dependent on the spring transfer portal? This actually makes sense to you?

if you can replace him with someone just as good in the portal why does it matter?

Have you seen us linked to a single defensive line transfer? Because I sure as shite haven’t and I’ve been following pretty close.

Ive got no reason to melt. He was ok but never grew to his potential. Baker will recruit to replace and reload.

For 2024? What kind of magic does that man know? Because I’m pretty sure Voldemort couldn’t just snap his fingers and get 3 championship caliber linemen out of the pickings right now.

We need solid linemen right now. Not championship quality, them guys will come . Portal will open back up and we will grab some great players. Im not a fan of the portal but with talented teams come highly rated transfers because not everyone will get the opportunity to play where they want to play. Example Lance Heard

Do you understand the difference between last years production and next years potential? Have you seen the depth chart or lack there of?

Or to mention the unprecedented DL coaching situation last year.

It doesn't matter what he might do somewhere else at some future time. That's speculation and wishful thinking. Right now and in the real world, he was ordinary.

he had less than 2.5 tackles a game. I think we will be alright.

How many tackles per game did Daniels have? Everyone’s job is not to make tackles. Maason Smith’s job was to hold the line on rushing plays and try to collapse the pocket on passing plays, usually absorbing blockers so someone else could make a tackle or get pressure.
