am sitting back in amazement at how this guy is getting a pass simply because he is replacing a good chunk of his coaching staff

I am of the opinion that if Miles loses to Saban next year in Tiger Stadium he gets the opink slip.

Miles by his own admission at the SEC preview stated something along the lines of 8 wins are too few at LSU. If that is the case and we go 4-8 in '10 Les's days at LSU are over.
I would then imagine that LSU and Les would agree to some reduced pay-out amount.

You might be putting just a tad too much stock into the ranting of a few doom and gloom types lurking around here.
I don't think we lose to you guys next yr, but even if you do...Les will not get his "opink slip".
Not everyone in BR is as disloyal as some here.

I am not happy with what appears to be the direction of the program but am in no means willing to concede LSU cannot win the West next year.
I want Miles to prove me wrong. I would be thrilled.

How can anyone say we haven't improved over the season? Our running game improved greatlly all season, and our defense was damn good team to.

You're just part of the crowd that are scared little bitches. Scared of bama. LSU football isn't done for, little Johnny come lately fan.

Shula was one heck of a recruiter.

Anyone who looks at what is going on at Alabama and sees what is happening at LSU and still thinks we are going in the right direction is delusional. The problem for next year isn't the people we are losing, its the lack of proven players to step in for the players leaving. Is it possible the younger unproven players will step in and play at a high level? Sure. Is it likely, probably not. After saying that, the 2011 team will be a very experienced and talented team with a senior qb. We only lose 6 defensive starters (projected including Peterson, Nevis, Levingston, Chad Jones, Jai Eugene, and K. Shep) and 2 offensive starters.

Why does anybody respond to these idiots anymore? Don't ya'll get tired of trying to educate the mass of retards that post crap like this?
Therein lies the problem.
Why does every idiot saying the same damn thing for the one-millionth time have to start a new thread to speak what's on his mind(I use the term loosely)?
Put the "Miles sucks-Saban is great" bullshite in one giant thread.
This is a well-administered board. You can cuss and rant but not go overboard.
But Chicken, I honestly believe something needs to be done about confining all this non-substantive bullshite to just one or two threads.
Tiger Rant should be realistic and free-speech and not be known as a "rose colored glasses" board. I sure don't wear them.
BUT: TR doesn't need the reputation as a board where these idiot Nervous Nellies run wild and clutter this board up with threads.
I'm tired of having to wade through what is usually a splendid message board for something of substance instead of the same old shite like the thread-starter.

The only reason Saban is in the discussion is because he is an easy comparison and he happens to be a great coach, while Miles is not. To think otherwise is like convincing yourself that your spouse will not cheat on you again.

Just go to bed, you suck at reality, you can't even spell Saban correctly.

Miles is going for his 4th double digit win season.

But as far as LSU, the record book is not in your favor.

yes LSU should suspend all football operations.
Tiger Stadium should be demolished tommorow.
We will never beat Bama again
And we should all bow and pray to God Saban for guidance

You again. I was hoping you took my advice and went to the Gump board to polish Nicky's knob. You Gay for Saban types make me ill.
Is that something of Nicky's you're spewing in your sig?
