Is there any conversation that Bill Busch was selected to replace Aranda should he leave for the NFL (but they don't pay DC's as much, right?)

a coordinator-in-waiting?

Well I like you're thinking outside the box, but I don't think we're "quite ready" for coordinator in waiting talk. That said, your topic is better than many, many others, especially late at night.

Arranda is the highest paid cordinator in all of football (by yearly salary). Talk about him leaving shouldn’t be coming up just yet. He only leaves for a good head coaching gig right now. He’s still very young and in a good position as it stands.

So Aranda selected and hired his own replacement in waiting? Because it’s common knowledge that O and Alleva had virtually nothing to do with his hiring, and would have absolutely no reason to hire him if Aranda were to leave. If anything, he was hired to hop in if Raymond leaves and because Aranda legitimately thought that we needed a dedicated safeties coach

1. I think We could do better

2. He’s a great coordinator in waiting say... Aranda becomes the HC at a certain school...I dont Like him on his own, but with Aranda really running the defense you would want a DC with familiarity.

Orgeron is well connected to defensive football. There is no defensive coach on his staff that he cannot replace.

I don't think that is correct. he has already said that he want's to be a D coordinator in the NFL. not a head coach.

100% nof what’s going on.

If that actually happened that would be ultimate slap in the face to Corey.

He’ll be D-Coordinator when Aranda takes over as HC in a year or two

I think Busch follows Aranda and becomes his DC when Dave becomes a head guy.

When O goes Alleva goes with him.

New AD most likely gonna want to hire “his guy”.

Promoting from within doesn’t usually happen with a new AD.

I rink Aranda’s next move is NFL DC anyway.

Yeah Aranda likely will go...but I’d be more excited about next year if he were HC

The better question is would he replace Aranda if he is promoted to HC.

I hear that if Aranda leaves, everyone on the football staff will be fired and Bill Brasky will be hired to single handedly coach the entire team.

And why not? Bill Brasky can coach offense, defense, and pleasure your wife all at the same time.

Bill Brasky once ate a moose whole.

Bill Brasky once punched a hole in a cow just so he could see who was coming up the road.

Bill Brasky scissor-kicked Angela Lansbury.
