Yeah, I'm going to go with "bullshite" for $1,000 here Alex.

There is a poster on this board who's biggest troll has been the 2018 class and how bad it is because it is losing the lowest rated 3-stars to get to the 85 scholarship limit.

Just think of all the experience the great 3-stars would have had in a few years if Lawrence, Fehoko, Fulton, Divinity, Sullivan, Anderson, Dillon etc, etc, etc had of declared for the NFL draft.

Those players returning is a BAD thing. Just ask Damone.

Ree I let you do your thing and don't give you much grief. Why do you want to come blow up a thread that nearly every fan agrees with?

The trolls blow up pretty much EVERY THREAD on this board. I don't see you trying to police them.

Really? I'm a fan, not a cheerleader. Not my job to police anyone. Anyway, I have debated far more negative fans than positive ones. If you don't see that you have a seriously distorted sense of reality. I just don't shill for either side. I try to be honest in my assessments whether people agree or not.

Even if Brooks doesn’t crack the defense, this kid will be a special teams ace. Don’t expect him to redshirt.

He is very versatile. It would be a waste to RS him. He won't be at LSU for more than three years whether he RS's or not.

LB Marcel Brooks - After playing receiver all week, the LSU signee demonstrated his two-way ability at outside linebacker. On one play in the second half, Brooks pressured Alabama-bound quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa and forced an errant throw.

Polynesian Bowl top performers

quote:

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — It's just one practice, but Flower Mound (Tex.) Marcus athlete Marcel Brooks stood out on Day 1 of the All-American Bowl practices in a big way. The four-star prospect is in line to potentially earn a fifth star if his performance stays at this high level.

"Marcel Brooks was as good of a player as we saw in both practices today," 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong said. "Not only was he as good of a player, but he's as good of a prospect too when you're talking about his short area burst. His quickness, his range and ability to change direction and then just the physicality that he plays with, he's a tremendous prospect. He's so versatile. He can play in coverage.

"We saw a lot from him today just being a major presence on the edge, rushing the passer and stopping the run and making things happen behind the line of scrimmage." (Twitter videos linked in quote)

Marcel Brooks shines on Day 1 of All-American Bowl

quote:

SAN ANTONIO — It was quite the week for LSU's bunch of signees in the 2019 All-American Bowl on Saturday. The end of the game capped a week of competition, learning and growth for the future Tigers.

The one that generally stole the show was Flower Mound (Tex.) Marcus outside linebacker Marcel Brooks, who led all players with seven tackles including a tackle for loss. The impressive performance was an exclamation point on a week that had Brooks standing out overall as he's squarely on five-star watch in the final 247Sports rankings.

No escalation. I actually think you bring good information to the board most of the time.

I can see Brooks being a ST ace and getting some PT in some of Aranda's exotic packages. The only thing that will keep him off the field is the elite talent already ahead of him.

It is very funny that after all his crying about the 3-stars who are having to leave, he posts in a thread about returning players with experience. All this while Aranda is going into his "senior" season with the LSU defense.

What a clown!!!

They will not be able to keep Brooks off the field this year. He is too good.

He will make his initial impact on special teams and gain more playing time as the season goes along.

I completely missed your post and posted nearly the same thing. Yeah, Brooks is a freakish athlete. Aranda is going to have fun finding ways to use him the next few years. I know he was an OLB but is only 190, so I see him staying as a safety and playing in the Quarter position or taking over for Delpit after this season.

There's a couple under the radar guys that may not contribute this season, but I think will be steals.

Kendall McCallum: Big physical ILB. He was the standout of the Bama/MS all star game. The kid is a thumper.

Raydarious Jones: HS QB with freak athleticism. 4.0 shuttle (would be 3rd best at the combine) and a 40.7 in. vertical (would be 8th best). He could be another Mo Claiborne.

I can't remember who it is - Shea, Jimmy or Detillier(sp?) but one of those guys is in love with Raydar.

Pretty much says he is the next Greedy.

Just think LSU's CB's on some plays may consist of Raydar, Stingley and Burns. Sting & Burn. Burn-Sting.
