We hate everyone pretty equally

I swear it's like clockwork every week a team gets trolled by some of our fans on Twitter and says they're our super bowl. We had like 5 of them last year in football.

Grew up LSU fan, went to Arkansas. Thing that surprised me the most was how much they hated LSU. Growing up I never really gave a shite about arkansas. complete afterthought to me. So I found it super strange that they valued the rivalry so much. Inferiority complex.

Now, personally, I hate ATM more than anyone. Nothing sweeter than beating those weirdos in jerry world this year. Most younger normal Arky fans hate atm the most now especially if you grew up in Texas.

My man literally created an account to tell this totally true story and wants to talk about inferiority complexes.

Yeah it's a weird one-way fixation from the Hogs. I live in Fayetteville and married into a Razorback family (father-in-law played football and baseball for the Hogs back in the day). I get along really well with most of the Hog fans around here, and there are a pretty good number of LSU folks in the area, as well. But anytime Arkansas and LSU play in any sport whatsoever, you definitely hear about it WAY more up here than you do in Baton Rouge.

As someone else in the thread mentioned, I have definitely heard about it from the preacher many Sundays over the years. It'll be interesting to see if the Arkansas fixation on LSU shifts when OU and TU join in 2025 (or sooner).

Most Arkansas fans are looking forward to playing Texas in the SEC. It was a big deal from the 60s to the 80s. I counted but I'm not sure the series had 12 games that were decided by a TD or less.

Texas may have viewed Oklahoma as the bigger rival especially after Arkansas joined the SEC. But make no mistake they were big games in the past. They don't see Arkansas as a rival now but the beating they got earlier in the year is a reminder that Arkansas takes the gloves off against Texas.

Bull crap. The hate for LSU is deep and malignant.

I graduated from Arkansas and LSU and live in NWA. I catch the angst from the little piggies often.

I know I got a dude that i work with and he hates LSU , if they beat us in any sport he wears his gear. Luckily he doesn’t get to wear it much. It always amazes me that they Arkansas can have the same record and they’re tending up and we’re a dumpster fire. He doesn’t realize that the expectations of LSU and Rkansas are sooo different, that 5-3 in football is outstanding to him and miserable for me.

But if you were an Auburn or A&M fan you may receive the same treatment. My point is that it’s not just LSU. It’s because you’re not all-Arkansas.

You should have seen how Dickson Street treated Texas fans when they came here, it was brutal lol.

I’ve seen hog fans at their worst. I’ve lived in NWA for the last 30 years and spent 2nd grade thru undergrad in FYV.

No doubt the hate for Texas persists, especially in the older fans, but the hate for LSU far exceeds other SEC schools!
