You guys do realize that the medical staff has the final say in who plays and who doesnt, right? Not Les Miles. Not LF. If they felt he was healthy enough to play then he probably was. Guys play not at 100% every week. Its football

Oh yeah? Well, Coach O didn't spend 12 years in Yawyaw Medical School to listen to no damn trainer.

Please do not let anyone post things that alumni95 does not like. Maybe we can set up a screening process where he gets to approve all posts before they are seen by others?

LF at this point needs to do what's best for him. He has a career in the NFL to think of and people(family) depending on him. He is disenchanted I know because he wanted to play for a NC this season and with the season pretty much done in that dept with 2 losses already he needs to be concerned with his health. He does not need to be playing in these games unless LSU absolutely needs him and he is healthy enough to do so. The last thing he does not need is to make a non serious injury a serious injury that could completely derail his career.

You don't go out there and play on a leg that is iffy and tear knee ligaments blowing it out or something because of that ankle is still bad. No, LSU has loads of talent with Guice, Williams, and even Brosette. Get completely healthy my man. You have done a lot for LSU already. Thank you.

Yes. This new injury is a different injury.

Yes, the left anti-equilibrium caused an imbalance due to the gyroscopic sync occurrence during a spin move on the right ankle. Thus excessive torque occurring to the lower right ankle, resulting in another equal and opposite foot occurrence.

do, however, have a problem with the coaches not spelling him more with one of the four talented backs behind him.

Guice? Agree
Williams? Agree
Brossette? Agree
Lanard? Nope

They haven't even played Ducre and I think that kid can run. A load to bring down at 250.

Lanard just isn't quite there yet. I like the idea of putting him and Brossette in when we have the game locked down. They need the playing time when we can afford them it.

Now if we could get a few plays where LF7 and Guice were in the backfield together with some misdirection.... I think we'd add a whole different level. Throw in play action pass on top of that and the defense wouldn't know what hit them.

Well if he is out for the Florida game then sit him for USM as well or maybe a few token carries if he is doing much better. Have him fresh for Ole Miss because we need to keep their offense off the field.

Regardless, he'll still be a top 5 NFL pick. He'll get completely healthy, blow up the combines and teams will be drooling all over him.

That's assuming he doesn't fully heal up over the final weeks of the regular season and bowl game.

Just looking back at some of his runs this year. I see more last-second ankle/leg tackles as he was about to break one.

At least a half dozen I've said, "He would have housed that one last year."

True story.

Right. Poor decision. Keep your All-American on the bench. Are you crazy, stupid or both?

If your All American is hurt then yes, you keep him off the field.
