I don't care how we win, or against whom. Our schedule has been the most difficult in college football. I'll take a break for the MNC

OK State still #5 after a loss to Iowa State

They lost on the road in OT to a bowl eligible team. It's not as bad as people are making out to be.

it wasn't? Iowa State's run defense was 110th in the nation ....

"A Pac-12 champion Stanford will go to the MNC over Alabama."

But Stanford can't win the PAC 12. Unless Oregon State beats Oregon...

Typical coonass arrogance. "As good as it normally is". Good enough to be beaten by Arkansas three of the last four years. Petrino OWNS LSU!!!!!!!

Arkansas fans have officially become the shittiest fans in the conference. You haven't accomplished shite in the SEC. You are going to get physically manhandled Friday. I hope you come back to eat your crow, hillbilly.

Both Ok State and Stanford trail Bama by almost 200 points in the AP poll which is pretty wide, unless OK State beats OU like 66-6 they might have a shot, but they wont jump Stanford AND Bama not after OU lost and dropped to 12th

I don't think Stanford gets into the PAC 12 championship because Oregon holds the tiebreaker over them and assuming Oregon beats the putrid Oregon St., they would be representing the PAC12 north in the Championship....wouldn't they? If so, Stanford has almost no shot at the BCSNCG...IMO.

Not this year. It may be close only because LSU will use a conservative game plan and grind it out on the ground to eat clock, but the Tigers will dominate.

Very nice. Regardless of division, this has to be a first for any conference.

ETA: Oops.

quote:

The only other time in the 75-year history of The Associated Press rankings that the top three teams all came from the same conference was the final regular-season poll of 1971, when Nebraska, Oklahoma and Colorado from the Big Eight were 1-2-3.

And this time it's not just one conference, but one division (the SEC West) holding down the top spots.
