I picked us at 5th if we beat Georgia. Would be 2nd (and possibly but not likely 1st) has we not lost to Florida.

We skull dragged them. And have equal win/loss records with a much more difficult SOS. Also, we were 13th.

No we were 15th like I said. LINK But sometimes it's not as cut and dry as who beat who. There are 130 teams to consider. Plus there's a reason why they have 60 different writers voting. It's all subjective, and frankly doesn't mean shite. But it's fun to debate.

Thought you meant actually ranked, not in this goofs poll. And while I agree, I feel like in this situation it kind of is basically who beats who. I mean this is really the first time that anyone has seen UGA this season against any real competition. They get torched in every aspect of the game yet somehow they are still better than us in his opinion? And with such a significant difference in SOS. I could understand if our loss was to a bottom feeder, but it was a one possession game, on the road, to a team that he has as the 11th best team in the country.

Interesting that Matt Barker (Tampa Bay Times) and Pat Dooley (Gainesville Sun) voted us 5th and 6th, respectively, while each voting UF 12th. I thought both of those guys were Gator homers.
