Anyone who thought LSU baseball would contend for back to back natties

Just doesn’t understand modern baseball. In the NIL/portal era where you lose a lot to the draft and a bunch of other teams are just as serious as you are, it’s not gonna happen.
The Ray Tanner/Skip Bertman years are over.
If Jay can win one every 2-4 years, he’s a legend.

We're not talking about another NC. This team is in danger of not being in a regional. That's inexcusable.

The 2024 team went 3-12 in SEC play to open the season and not only made a regional, but was 1 pitch away from hosting a super. Against a North Carolina team that was a legit contender. How are you writing them off now?
