No. And I am a positiger who has a lot of respect for Miles. Now is the time. Change is good if it is good change. Assuming we hire who I think we may hire, it will be for the better. I am grateful for all CLM did for us. But time to turn the page.

Yes when we beat aTm and the bowl game this is like a 10 win since mcneese is a considered a win in my mind. You don't fire a coach like Miles. Even Jimbo would be a downgrade to miles. Only coaches I see hands down better than miles are saban and Meyer and even Meyer if extremely close.

WHAT. THE. frick.

This past week alone ... Miles said that LSU was "ready" ... and then proceeded to get owned from the opening snap by Hugh Freeze.

Week prior ... Miles said LSU was "ready" ... and then proceeded to get owned by Fat Bert ... 2nd year in a row.

Regarding good coaching ... Miles isn't even in the top half of what is a shitty SEC this year.

Some teams actually GET BETTER as the year progresses.

I wanted Miles gone too. However I agree one more year with changes. Miles handles the OC, get rid of Steele, promote coach O, promote Steve to QB coach or OC & QB coach. Hire a LB coach & ST coach. You will need to have incentives based upon performance for someone to come into a lame duck situation. Allow the man to retire not be fired. Ball can coach receivers & TE's. If Steve is the OC then miles must keep his hands off. This may save the recruiting class, allow Les to leave and prevent egg on the face of LSU.

how many OC changes is it gonna take before people realize what the common denominator of all of the issues are?

Agree 100%
I am continually stunned by these suggestions that a new OC will fix a Miles offense. Ain't happening.

Yes because we had a much different and successful offense before Cam? Why do you idiots not get it. Miles is the problem

Correct. He's had, what, 5 different OC's? It doesn't matter who he brings in. The offense will not be dynamic and not able to adjust. And now ST and Defense aren't that good either.

I'm not a Jimbo fan, but I disagree with all of this. If a coach can maintain recruiting, there are several candidates that would be a better fit at LSU. If BERT (Arky) could recruit well at LSU (I'm not an advocate for him coming here), he would do better (laugh if you want, but his teams compete well in the SEC).

I would be ok with it if he announced he would retire at the end of the following year and they announced the coach in waiting. Say Kirby smart or someone who would come in and be the defensive coordinator for a year. Would want to see a new offensive coordinator as well with the new coaches input. Special teams must surely be the first to be let go.

No. Butthen I never was a fan. The 2006 and 2011 teams were ruined by Les. 2007 he got lucky after losing to Arkansas. The qb of the future is flirting with Florida. Time to move on. But he is a great guy.
