I dont think you understand how college football works. Those small schools are thrilled to come play here. They wouldnt have a program without it.

I don't really know who it is unfair to.
Season ticket holders may think it is unfair to them to ask for ever an increasing amount of money to watch non-conference foes such as Towson.
Or are you asking if it is unfair to other SEC schools? Or are you asking if it is unfair to the small non-conference schools we pad our schedule with?

I remember a few years ago LSU played someone like Cal State Fullerton. I believe it was reported that CSF did not have a home stadium and played 12 road games every year. Their program was funded by big, rich Division One schools who hosted them every week of the year.

Doubt he's a Tiger. What LSU fan would state this? Ooooh, it's unfair for us to have 7 home games and 3 away games EVERY YEAR.

As was mentioned, we only had SIX home games in a couple of previous years, we play 'at least' FOUR away games every year; and for the third time in four years (including next year) we give up a home game to play at a neutral site (Dallas)
WE play 12 games every year, not 10, not including SECCG and Bowl games if we make it.

Last year we had 6 home games and 6 away games. One of our usual home games was played at a neutral site in Dallas (Cowboy Classic vs Oregon).

This year we have 8 home games and 4 away games.

Well we have 8 this year, 4 away. 4 away in the sec is plenty. Last year we had 6 home games. So the op is false.
