I agree. He needs to see some time when the game is not decided as well.

Perhaps you should have said "They need to find some stud from the Junior Colleges asap for next season...from Louisiana who was snubbed and went elsewhere..."

Not really. I would like to see Harris given more reps to prove he is as good as touted. Anthony Jennings' decision-making (and the pass in overtime tilted the fulcrum to "bad") gives me a note of no-confidence in his being the QB LSU needs. LSU has got to break this mold of making quarterbacks who "just get by" and step up with some football wisdom. Can Harris do that? I don't let the Auburn game weigh much on my evaluation of Harris--but the coaches seem to treat him with no confidence. It's time to put Harris back on the front line and let him shoot. AJ may get injured and we may need someone with some game experience behind him. If BH is allowed to play some and settle in (sort of like a pitcher in baseball), we may see his potential earlier than his junior or senior year. Just my opinion...

Seems logical. Judge him only by successes and not failures.

absolute truth. AJ is awful at zone read, and it's baffling. He's still making the same wrong read that he made in the bowl game last year.

What's bad is that he's so ineffective that it kills the down and distance. Seems like every time it's a 3 yard loss.

But perhaps Jennings needs to start and then Harris come in after a series or two. The problem is this (Arkansas) may be another hostile environment, and if Harris starts may result in him not being able to blend into LSU's offensive strategy. Harris needs to watch what Arkansas does to Jennings and then adjust when he goes in rather than overdoing it. Harris needs to step in and then stand up--the last time (Auburn) he stood up and got knocked down. It's sort of like canoeing--you can't flop the boat into the rapids but ease into it.
