Much of the confusion comes from the 20% rule for medical redshirts. If you are injured in the first half of the season and not played in more than 20% of the games, you can get a medical. 20% equals 3 games. People just assume you can play the first 3 games, which is true if you're hurt.
I wouldn't rule out a medical for Brazil yet since he's in the doghouse. Maybe he has a hangnail or something.

I talked to Jeryl last Friday and he told me he had a hamstring pull. He said this is the reason he did not travel to Georgia. He also said he was never suspended, did not say anything about punishment.
