A couple of quick questions about membership (I am trying to get info before sending in my application and time is getting short).

How long are the lunches? I need to make sure I can get the time off work (luckly I work about 10 minutes from Drucilla Seafood).

Are there service hours, or anything else similar, required? I was looking into Bengal Belles and was told they require service hours on top of membership and that it was more of a Junior League (NO THANKS!!)

Right now I just want my football fix

Is this a new requirement? I was in Bengal Belles 2 years ago and just paid my money and showed up at the luncheons!

I don't know, someone at work told me that. I will e-mail them and ask.

They do have an e-mail contact, TGC does not, that is why I am asking my questions on them here.

Thanks!!

I joined the Gridiron Club this year, the president said I wouldn't be dissapointed with the perks of the club, the events seem very cool and I'm sure a lot of networking going on at the luncheons.

Nothing is required except the $$$? The good thing is it goes toward your TAF Priority points. I have trouble attending most functions because I don't live in BR, but it's worth having the opportunity to go to closed practices and luncheons if I can swing it. Most other functions are big $$$. Just so you know.

"Next time you see someone posting information that came from our meetings, let any TGC board member know about it. We have to deal with non-compliant members from time to time. "

That is a bit humorous considering you all have absolutely no fiduciary responsibility for anything the team does or does not do.

I BET that those coaches tell you guys anything that they do not expect to see somewhere.

That being said - I think that it would be a cool thing to join given available time - only $300 means that there are plenty of people who can afford to join, just do not have the time or are geographically limited.

was great when Saban was here. He used to tell this fat jack weed that his questions were stupid. you know who you are you bearded loser.
miles was too nice the first couple of years. after nc he has become cocky. heard him at coaches dinner for taf. think he is going to be much better this year. victory is sweet and the championship brought confidence to his talks. geaux les.
gridiron worth it.
