Well I don't even know why they do those interviews, most of them are pretty worthless. Not a slam on the kids but they're typically not media savvy at that age, but I find most radio interviews with athletes worthless save a few guys.

People don't realize how important those media/pr seminars are during the offseason. But the last couple years I've been following him he comes off as soft spoken. Honestly DGAF how he interviews as long as he balls out.

I don't agree. If that was a well run and managed show they would have auditioned him before putting him on the air. It was totally unprofessional for them to get an untrained high school kid on the air without checking him out ahead of time. A quick run through prior to the actual interview would have shown that he is just too young and not at all ready for this kind of attention.
