Very few have been announced.

Serna, Braun, and Guidry to the Cape Cod League.

Clauss to La Crosse in the Northwoods League.

Patrick and Ruckert to Healdsburg in the Pacific Empire League.

No I do not. But I would like to see who is playing a position and in summer league who is going to play a position that they do not play at LSU.

My first thought is Cade going to stay a catcher and DH only. Or is he going to play another position to see if LSU can get more bats in the lineup. Maybe 3rd Base? I know during HS camps he has film fielding balls in the OF. I would like to know if he can play 3rd.

Guidry might need to stick with the Rougarou this summer

He’ll probably stay at catcher mainly. And to develop there, he may do better staying in Baton Rouge and working on that than playing somewhere. Catchers who can hit are extremely valuable. But if they hit really well,
they usually get moved to lengthen their careers and make sure they can play more than 130 games a year (in the bigs). But factoring that in, and the fact that he’s not a great defensive catcher, it may benefit him to go play somewhere and get some reps at 1B or RF. I don’t think he can play 3rd, and I hadn’t really thought about him in the OF, but dude has an absolute cannon that could absolutely play in RF. As long as he’s athletic enough to handle getting to balls in time.

DJ Lemahieu is the head coach of the Royal Oak Leprechauns in the Northwoods League. Hopefully they send some players his way to work on fundamentals.

That is a top notch location for summer ball.

It's even better when you're old enough to drink, wine specifically. Spent several days there in February.

3rd is a stretch for me too. Not sure he moves well enough for infield even 1st. He runs like his feet are size 18.

You are correct fastest way to MLB is as a cather and a catcher that hits multiple HR a season with Batting Avg is even better.

Johnny Bench career BA is .267 with over 2000 hits and 389 HRs

Piazza hit .308

Context, Lenny Webster is an old teammate of mine. He played at Grambling with Gerald Williams Rip. Both teammates during summer leagues. Lenny was in the league from 89 to 2000. His BA was 254. Lenny was everyday catcher in Baltimore for 4 of those years but was in the MLB for a long time. Cade should atleast be a Lenny Webster in MLB.

On another note Gerald Williams was one of the best teammates and people I have ever been associated with in life. RIP my friend. Lenny was a little scary but a good guy. Quite dude.
