anyone else realize....

im sure others have, but i realized it a few days ago
LSU kicked the season off last year agains moo st. and ended the season against osu.
anyone know if this has happened before. a team playing the first game and last game of the season...

was the GMAC or International Bowl after the NC game last year ?

Yeah pretty sure one of those bowls were after the championship game.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure there was some crappy game on ESPNU or something at 7:30 last year, and then the marquee game (LSU/MSU) at 8:00 on ESPN (like Miami (OH)-Vandy started at 6:30 CT on ESPNU this year, before USCe and NCst at 7 on ESPN). So it wouldn't be technically the first game.

Uhhh the NC game was the last game last year.
Those two bowls were after the old 4 BCS bowl games.
But they were played before the NCG.

I believe we played our first game on Aug. 30 last year. We do it again this year. Has THAT ever happened?

We played football last year. We're going to play football this year as well. Isn't that amazing that we're going to field a football team two years in a row? WOW
