Excluding the mickey mouse covid year

Last true home game to start off the year was 2019 against Georgia Southern. Prior to that it was 2012. McNeese was scheduled for 2015, but canceled.

frick Neutral site matchups

Excluding 2020's last minute scheduling, it's the first time we have played a power conference team at home in week 1 since 2004 against Oregon State. It's the first time we're playing a premier game at home in week 1 since 1994 against Texas A&M - although LSU was far from a premier program at that time.

Those neutral site games seem like they're gone for LSU and thank God for that.

Yea thankfully we have a head coach who seems to give a crap about our schedule and setting it up best for the team.
