Anyone else feel like this basketball season is a lot like 2009?

Except we will be seeded properly. That 2009 team was 25-4 before losing the last 2 and went 1-1 in SECt. They got shafted with an 8 seed. I truly think they could have beaten anyone in the tourney except UNC.

Feels alot like that except UNC = Duke. Both are likely unbeatable if they play their A game.
I think this team will be seeded right (2-4 range) and the gap is closer this season between LSU-Duke than LSU-UNC in 2009.

If we someone how avoid Duke’s side of the bracket like in Jerry Palms projection, we could play for a national title

This team can beat Duke.

If LSU plays their A game, Duke would need their A game to win it.

SEC was not a strong conference in 08-09. It is now.

Was that the year we lost in the 2nd round to UNC? Has it been that long already?

The SEC sucking that year helped contribute to the shitty 8 seed. Luckily, we won't have to worry about that this year. I'm optimistic for a 2 seed if we take care of business.
