Suites suck. No one watches the game, its more of social gathering than rooting on the LSU Tigers. The women in the suites ruin the experience. None of them know what the hell is going on and they dont stop talking. The food and alcohol are nice, but put me down in the lower level anytime over the suites.
Take advantage of the opportunity and go though. Just to say you did.
I just dressed normal when i went. LSU windpants, LSU T-shirt. If they say something... oh well.

They are fun, different, alot more grown up. You can get loud, just not student section loud. Jeans and a collared shirt or something like that. You will see people in all different outfits. It is a football game after all, not a dance recitle.

Because there is an outside possibility, you can go inside and be the social person that doesn't want to pay attention, or you can do like me and sit outside and cheer like any other fan in the stadium. I don't allow the suite to dictate my fanhood during big games. You shouldn't either.

Ton of food. I sat in the Tiger Den Suites. You can buy beer.. i think for $3 for a can.

While I would like to take offense to the women don't pay attention comment (as I am female), I have to agree that 75% of the women in the suite with me when I went last year were just chatting and not watching the game. I wanted to say, could you go inside and let those of us who want to watch sit outside. I wore normal game attire, jeans and LSU t-shirt. Food was good, alcohol was great.

Yep. A client of mine invited me back during the 2003 season for the WIU game. I really didn't enjoy it as much as my normal seats, but I'm glad I experienced it at least once and appreciated that he invited my wife and I.
I found the seats to be a little confining...meaning I was used to being in the open air of the stadium, and didn't like having the covered roof over my head even though I was in the outer seats and not in the glassed in portion.
Not for everyone...but fun doing it once.

Congratulations. My friends work for the company that provides the food. Be sure to pig out while you're up there.
I'd love to have one suite experience in Tiger Stadium.

Suite experiences are usually good. I wouldn't even worry about what to wear. Like someone posted earlier, you will see all types. I have worn everything from shorts to the Appy State game to dockers with a collared shirt depending on what the weather was like and who was going to be there. Sometimes we entertain clients. Feel free to sit outside and scream like the rest of us.
It is not quite the same as sitting in the bowl, but you should do it just to say that you did. I am looking forward to being in my regular seats for this weekend, which is in the lower bowl. Enjoy!

You will have a good time.
My husband and I usually get to the suites early (we only get to go in once a season usually) and go claim our seats on the first row.
We cheer as much as we do in our usual seats.
The food can be hit or miss but we always find something we enjoy. There is also an ice cream freezer in the main lobby area that you can help yourself to.
I see people dressed VERY casually to really dressy. Do whatever you are comfortable with or whatever you think the others in your suite will be wearing. Some companies and their guests tend to dress up more than others.

I rotate from the the tiger den suites to the stadium club seats every other game and the stadium club is way better. Except when were losing and you can get smashed and watch another game on the TV. Big games I would prefer to be in the "regular" seats. FWIW Im not rich.... my wifes family is
