I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about. This was in my stocking this morning, I'm on Chapter two and I think we should rehire him:

Here's one.
Going into Hallman's last year LSU was getting ready to kick off to A&M in the opening game of the year at Tiger Stadium. I had seats on the
West Side on the 25 yard line. Before I could get to my seat fans were booing and calling Hallman a dumbass. I sat down and asked a guy sitting in front of me what the fans were booing and screaming about. He said that A&M had won the toss. As A&M was lining up to receive the Kickoff I asked "so what's the problem?" The guy told me "A&M defered & Hallman elected to Kickoff so now LSU gets to kick off both halves". A&M had a good return and scored on the opening drive. The guy in front of me kept saying "Hallman is so bad that he didn't even wait until the season started to screw up".
Hallman won 16 games in 4 seasons. What an idiot.

The best case of Hudson being a frickhead:
Practice going on as usual. All activity is halted as Hallman heads towards the special teams/kickers field with team filing in behind him. He approaches Pedro Saurez (who's wearing a bandana on his head), pulls it off Pedro's head, drops his britches, and proceeds to wipe his arse with it. Then goes on about how there are no individuals on his TEAM!
Pedro turned purple and I was sure he was going to destroy the old man. Hallman deserved to have his arse whipped.
The man was a disgrace. The only honorable thing I ever saw from him was the night he got up in Dale Browns face to take up for the football team......the basketball/football brawl.
He had a beautiful family he squandered.

I remember playing golf at ccl the day he was fired or following day and a certain local attorney was on the first tee waiting for him with a sign that read "will coach for food"

Here is a story I will tell as it was told to me by a long time starting O lineman on Curly's teams. They had went through several line coach during the curly years. This one guy had the philosophy of rotating linemen to keep them fresh. They would rotate the entire line every 10 plays. LSU gets the opening kickoff against Auburn. Drives down field and has first and goal. They pull the entire starting line out of the game. LSU goes 4 and out and loses.

Yep. I remember when those losses were REAL butt-whoopins. Those Florida games were tear-jerkers. Loud "boo's" in the stands. Throwing junk towards the field. Chants of "You Suck".
Then....I remember the first Dinardo-coached game at home. We looked to him like "Boy, you couldn't POSSIBLY coach worse than Hallman. This might be the real deal". Yeah. The years under Hallman made us think like that.
And people complain about Les Miles losing to Bama. SMH!
It's also funny when you go back and watch LSU destroy a Saban-coached Michigan State.

I heard Dinardo called Hallman when he got the job he called Hallman as a courtesy and asked what advice he'd give. Curley said "get a punter". I think he was serious.

Damn.....my only Hallman story is that he pissed on my shoe once as we shared a open trough style urinal, but these other stories have me beat

Alright, I have to ask. Did he do any of this stuff at Southern Miss? Did Joe Dean even do a background check? Hiring this idiot set us back years!!!
Posted on 12/27/15 at 7:20 am to geauxjoetiger
He had a QB named farve that's what got him hired but he didn't have another farve at LSU

At USM, there were more athletes tHan Favre in that era as they competed and won recruiting battles against ole piss and msux. Routinely defeated those teams and other sec teams. Hallman literally fell into a good situation at usm and probably could have retired there drinking with the slack jawed yokels in H'burg.
The dude was in way over his head in tigertown. Call in shows were painful...lol

Was coming to post that he kicked off both halves after screwing up the coin toss

I recall that Hallman banned earrings and made the offense hold hands in the huddle.
Those two concepts are diametrically opposed to each other. That was Curley's problem.

Saban actually did this at LSU too. Against Mississippi State. Don't remember what year, but it was at home.

He sure did, though he of course through his captain under the bus for screwing it up instead of taking the blame as IMHO he should have done.

I remember during the post-game press conference after another loss he said, "Turnovers have been our Achilles' tendon all year." Couldn't help but laugh...
