We’ve found a way to downplay JD’s 5 TDs because “it’s fricking Grambling”, but 6 passes in absolute garbage time against Grambling are enough to tell Nuss has it.

Man, this is bullshite.

End of the day Nuss hasnt had a bad outing in the last, idk, 3-4 times he’s seen the field. Of course all of these opportunities were garbage time.

The issue is that, even despite end of game stats, Daniels inability to connect deep (vs a decent secondary) and not step up in the pocket and throw a rope, is a problem

The best QBs in the history of the game have had attributes that Daniels doesn’t have. He’s not bad. But he’s not elite. And we don’t know with Nuss, but his natural instinct for the position is closer to what you see with the elite passers out there, which is the main role of the position. Passing. Not running.

Why is it that nobody outside of LSU fans thinks there is a QB controversy and that Nuss needs to play instead? LSU fans have always had backup QB syndrome.

The last somewhat meaningful snap Nuss played was a Nuss fumble vs UGA. The last definite meaningful snap was an INT vs Arkansas.

Neither of these were meaningful

It’s objectively not bullshite.

Jayden’s distractors will excuse away every single successful thing he does because they don’t like the way he does it. Any comments about what he did well yesterday are met with “it’s Grambling”, but Nuss’s outing can be used in support of him taking the job. Go figure.

Nobody outside of LSU fans thought Miles or Orgeron needed to be fired.

What’s your point?

An INT in overtime against Arkansas isn’t meaningful?

I 100% agree that we love the backup

It’s a great running joke

But let’s be clear. It started with Jarret Lee. Who should have started over Jefferson.

No one complained about Mett or Burrow starting. Because they clearly won the job.

College isn’t like the nfl, you don’t always have a defined starter. Tom Brady isn’t at LSU. Daniels isn’t very clearly better than Nuss.

Nuss will also make the rushing attack better as a whole, because he can stretch the field vertically. Throwing the ball down field will make teams defend differently and will open up the run game. Really not groundbreaking. The offense is much more diverse with Nuss, which generally would equate to more points against quality teams.

Again…it’s crazy to me the guys that get paid millions and have been doing this for 40 years can’t figure this out
Just crazy

He said with Nuss there will be no rpo plays that he is looking to run
Most of these mouth breathers don't know the difference between a read option and an RPO. IF Jordy said that, he's one of them. But I bet he didn't actually say that.

No one was calling for Brennan when Burrow was starting.

In all likelihood, neither Daniels nor Nuss will ever sniff the best QBs in the history of the game, so we should be much more concerned with who gives LSU the best chance to win every week.

I am fine with the criticism of Daniels when it’s warranted, but the fact so many on here seem to be confident Nuss is the better player is such a head scratcher to me.

I am not arguing for it against Nuss or Daniels based on Grambling

It’s a totally meaningless game, period

2021? His freshman year?

Yes, that is 100% meaningless in 2023

Not in 2019, no. 2018? Burrow had a LONG stretch of only 1 TD pass and that TD pass was thrown to someone wearing a Florida jersey. There were ABSOLUTELY LSU fans screaming for Brennan lol

It’s the last pass he threw that mattered in front of fans, so how so many fans can know he’s the better QB is beyond me.

Nah, the running threat of JD is too much to ignore. LSU needs to fix the defense, offense sems to be ok.

Very short sighted. Just like Jordan Jefferson’s running threat couldn’t be ignored. Has Les Miles brainwashed you.

He likes double standards and qualifiers that only exist within his biased “context”. You’re not gonna get an honest discussion with that guy.
