Anybody got a vid from 2000 MSU - LSU in TS?

I can't check at the moment cuz I'm at work. But over the years I have and can't even find an rnolan vid. It was on ESPN tho and at night. Maybe ESPN 2.
2000 was the best season of Tiger football ever. I remember someone calling in to Hannagriff after UAB and asking "what do you think we got for the $5 million with this new coach (Saban), and Hanagriff responds, "I don't know, a guy that's more photogenic."
The "brook-trout look" officially ended with this one as we came from behind and took it in OT. I think Madkin threw a TD pass on the 1st play from scrimmage. Josh Booty's finest performance, and, of course, Josh Muh-fokking Reed.... I think that's the game where he caught a ball on the sideline at about the 5, pushed 2 bulldog defenders to the ground, and waltzed in the endzone while shouting at them. That guy was hands-down the best I've ever seen after the catch.

if folks can't appreciate the '00 season for what it was, then i feel sorry for you.
best season ever? probably not. but pretty incredible times, and the start of the modern era of lsu football.

if you can find me a season with 3 games more magical than UT, MSU, and GT in '00 then i'd like to be reminded of it. had we lost to UT and MSU and gone 6-6 1/2 of the people on this board wouldn't be here.
u can seriously grammar bro i mean wow

OK? I was at all three. Very awesome and definitely the beginning of the golden age of LSU football. But calling it the best season ever in LSU football history is silly at best.

2001:
Auburn game to clinch the west
Tennessee SEC title game
Sugar Bowl
That's at least comparable.
And do I really need to rehash all the awesome games of 2003, 2007, 2011?

"best" is a subjective term. so, yes, i say it with bias. it has a lot to do with the state of the program at the time. the insufferable '98 and '99 seasons. we really didn't know what to make of saban, rohan was the back-up, booty was the starter, toefield was a freshman, and josh reed was a failed RB. all we knew was jerel myers, ryan clark, and james/faulk were good, and we proceed to knock off 3 top 15 teams and beat Bama in TS for the first time in 30 years. we just so happened to sign one of the top classes in the nation the following february (wilkerson, hill, spears, clayton) that was the core of our '03 championship.

and don't forget the bama game.
but we had expectations that year.
the whole conference thought we were a joke in 2000.

True. In that case, I nominate 1995. It was, as a matter of fact, the year we "Brought Back the Magic".

How? Its not even in the top 20 unless 2000 was when you started following LSU.

Did you just wake up from a coma you went into in early 2001?
