It's possible there will be an update today. But it's probably just safer to assume he's going to be shut down.

I think he’ll be shut down as well. I’m for taking whoever we think will legitimately be contending for major innings next year and giving them some legit starts and innings under there belt. Whether that be Paz or Ricken or whoever. Let them work and see what we got for next year.

We will never get a true update from CJJ. Just assume he is done for the year

Agreed, no reason to risk further injury possibility on a season ending up like this one.
