If you care about LSU, you don't want Ed Bebe Orgeron anywhere near this campus.

Troubled past including alcohol and drug addiction, legal issues, and he is flat out a moron that would put LSU squarely in the middle of the NCAA's microscope. The Ole Miss parking lot while he was coach looked like a Cadillac dealership. I was a student there at the time.

He does better as a coordinator/line coach/recruiting specialist type...that seems to be what he does best.

I'm not even sold on his coaching at his respective position. What DL has he developed during his time at USC?

Sounds like the perfect guy we need in North Louisiana. Hire him and the road to Bama is closed!

why? guy learned from his days at Ole Miss and he almost/should've gotten the USC job after rallying those players and winning some games. if he is an assistant what could he hurt? I'd rather him than fricking Kiffin...

My worry would be a direct line of communication from "O" to Kiffin and Saban. He and Kiffin have a history that Les and "O" do not have.

None of these evaluations mean shite obviously. Les has already offered him a job before. That's fact.

Who cares the NCAA doesn't have any teeth.

The guy is a motivator and can recruit plain and simple. Somewhat dirty or not his tactics haven't brought USC, Tennessee & Ole Miss anything but great players and a few negative headlines about the NCAA "looking into" violations. He's exactly what's needed to combat the other dirty recruiters our competition deploys.

With all this autonomy stuff, does LSU really fear the NCAA?
