I say Tigers take 2/3. We win Friday with Pomeranz on the (if we can produce ANY runs) and lose Saturday and Sunday.

Our bats have been awful lately. Pomeranz pitched a 2 hitter in 8 innings last weekend and we ended up losing.

Excited about the Friday pitching match-up, not so much about the rest of the weekend.

I think there's going to be a close game this weekend, and two games decided by 5-8 runs.

Ranaudo is either going to start to settle in for good or struggle inning by inning as he getts his rthym back. LSU's lineup is loaded 1-8 and anyone can hit at anytime. The key is going to be if Bourgeios and Matulis can eat up innings or it's going to be a long one for LSU.

Well our hitting, bullpen, and base running has been horendous as of late. Hopefully we are just in a funk. Maybe we can put it together, but that will be extremely tough against a ball club like LSU.

We won our first Sunday game since February so hopefully we found a Sunday starter that can at least keep us competitive but who knows.

Our Saturday starter has been great this year but he was absoloutly lit up by USCe so who knows about that either.

No. I think the choke job started a little early this year.

We won't make it far enough for a choke job this year. We knew that coming into the season though, or at least the real fans did.

I think AR will have his best game since the injury and shut you guys down. The other two games are tossups IMO. Then again, it's baseball and either team could sweep.

If your bats are awful lately and LSU has an All American on the mound, how do you think Ole Miss will win the Friday game ?

The only game I see being competitive is Saturday.

RebelNutt, I was thinking about grilling some steaks after the game Saturday. Where is the best place to buy steaks in Oxford?

They have an All American too. Should be a great pitching matchup Friday.

OK, thanks. I was not necessarily looking for prime, just some good choice steaks.

Is Ranaudo going to be pitching against Pomeranz? I would save Ranaudo for Saturday or Sunday honestly. It sounds like it would be a definite win.

It's the best weekend of the year in Oxford. Double Decker music festival is the tits. tsjennin (a poster on the OT from BR) is throwing a kegger with bar-b-que on the square at his house. Ole Miss games are a ton of fun as well. Do yourself a favor and go check out right field with the students. We are all allowed to bring in ice chests and they have grills. It gets pretty fricking wild.

Geaux Tigers.
