These guys are just like the Washington Redskin Hog fans of the 80's. I think they are funny, and let them do what they want. They add color to the mystique of LSU.

If you are an individual who craves to be noticed for all the right reasons, then yes, thats me. I have been noticed for a lot of things, on grander scales than being a pimp and I loved it. Signing my autograph to people was amazing and having your name in lights should be a goal of every individual, no matter what their profession or calling. The same thing occurs as being a pimp.
Let us have our fun, dont rain on our parade, and all will be well. We dont project the comraderie and fellowship of the pimps on you, dont project your negativity toward us. Fair?

It's no different than the guy who wears the Bubba teeth and uses it as a way to socialize.
I don't see it as anything more than a variation of a fraternity.
I'm sure some of these guys get out of line not unlike many other LSU fans, but I choose to enjoy the entertainment.
I think some of those that view them as attention whores have a little jealousy involved.

Slow...
considering that there are millions of people that are fans of LSU and we dress the way we do, to stand out a bit and be individuals one time per year...
then yes I am.

Let me get this straight. A guy with 13,000 plus posts is throwing stones at a group for being attention whores??

For all of you bashing TPN, have you ever been to their tailgate? NO otherwise you wouldnt be raging them. I was there this weekend, and I fully intend to join TPN when I graduate in december. Dont be jealous that you're not orignal enough to come up with an idea like that.

Let me just say that the Pimps were awesome in SC. They traveled with the LSU Alumni Association and they had the Alumni group partying like rock-stars!
Kudos to the Pimps for a great time in Columbia

Haters love to hate. Lovers love to love, and I am a lover - just ask yo momma BBA.
The Alumni Association group was a first class act. Good people, good times and the love was flowing - an EPIC day that I would put up against any tailgating crew anywhere in the world (including Euro soccer hooligans). The TPN hopes that we enhanced the experience and showed the Cock fans what tailgating and supporting your team is all about.
Don't hate, appreciate. "Life is too short". - Too Short.

Some of them can't help it because they went to Ole Miss, I don't know what excuse others have.
such an oxymoron common white trash from the shite state of miss. gathering at the state's "finest" institution and assuming they have class

A source tells me that a bunch of middle-aged attention whore losers DID in fact get people to stare at them for over 5 seconds, thus accomplishing their mission. It is also reported that they in no way had ANY influence on the team's performance, even though they believe they did. They have all reported back to the real world today proud of themselves.
The same can be said for all the weekend Harley riding "badasses" across the country today.
now thats words worth reading.

I think some of you are being just a tad bit stodgy, punctilious, and supercilious.
I attended the Pimp Nation party on Bourbon Street the day of the 2007 national championship game. They were an extremely congenial, hospitable group of people. They weren't at all embarrasing to my alma mater.
Frankly, I'm more ashamed of some of the sanctimonious, judgmental, insecure posters in this thread.

I think the PIMPS are great! They are just having a good time getting together once a year nothing wrong with that. All you people who are ragging on them are just mad because you didn't think of the idea first I know I am!
