may have improved over the summer as much, or more, than Lee has under a new OC?

while not entirely impossible, its highly unlikely someone could make such a leap in 8 months, esp having missed the last 6 weeks.

Youre talking about going from being the 110th rated QB last year (or whatever he was) to better than what Lee is today (around 40).

again... possible, but just very unlikely.

You're right, because he never had a QB rating in the top 40. . . .

All of you talking sh-- about JJ need to shut the hell up and let the caoches make all the decisions! There is a reason JJ was named the starter, so you be quiet watch the games and support the team like a true fan is suppose to do, and stop crying like a bunch of bitches!

Another good point. Lee is improving each week. Let's hope it continues

I bet you wouldn't say that in front of JJ.

Well, lets take 2 things into account.

1. He played well in 09. Not great, took a lot of sacks, but we also had no run game and a terrible line. Still, his numbers from that year are similar to the numbers Lee is putting up this year.

2. JJ played well at the the end of last year. In the last month of the season he was top 25 in QB rating.

So how much does he really have to improve? Or does he just need to be more consistent? Maybe better play calling and coaching would help that?

Did you know Jefferon played better in the last 4 games of last season than Lee has the first four games of this season?

Nice cherry picking, but no.
JJ Last 4 Games: 43/73, 647, 4 TD, 2 INT
JL First 4 Games: 56/87, 624, 6 TD, 1 INT

I wish JJ would pick off where he left off, because he is likely to get in some games. But I don't trust Les to show patience.

so fewer TDs and more INTs is bad?

Nope and dont care. Lee is our QB. There is always talk of "great" improvements. lee has proven himself to be a leader and IMPROVED. Messing with the team chemistry now would be foolish.

4 for 14. 0 TD. 1 INT.

"its his thumb!"
"its the OC!"
"its the line!"
"its the receivers!"
"its the fans!"

at what point is it just jordan.

i saw jefferson in one of the closed scrimmages before the season during camp and a week before the arrest. HE LOOKED TERRIBLE with the same old inaccurate passes and holding on to the ball for too long. Jarrett Lee and Mettenberger were clearly the better qbs and jarrett lee especially. after seeing that I hoped that jarrett lee would get another chance, which he has.

Consider this arrest a favor by the BRPD, our offense would not be the same without them and I promise you we would have lost a game. GO BRPD!

Do you really want to compare QBs in the spring game?

Frankly, I think reinstating JJ is the one of the worst things that could happen to this team right now. It would be criminal if he takes one meaningful snap away from Lee. Talk of working him in the rotation is plain stupid. If we start monkeying around with team chemistry right now, things could only deteriorate; they can't get better. Lee is a bonafide SEC qb who can make all the throws and can hand off to a couple of the best running backs around. Nothing is missing from this offense. Leave it alone.

no, because SK doesn't have some magical formula at coaching qbs that gary didnt. J lee has more talent as a passer so he will develope better as a passer.

JJ was better with his legs. and whether it was right to start him or not, they put a gameplan around him to play to that strength. even switching to the zone read.

true, im not sayin it was great. i never thought he should've been the starter. but he was named that, and the offense was designed around what he did best. run.

again, he wasnt great at it, but it is what he does best.
