Because it's so much easier to make someone look stupid when you just clip bits and pieces and take them out of context.

If you have never met Les Miles personally or sat through a whole press conference, not just a few clips here and there, then you really have no comprehension of what a personable and well spoken guy he is.

Also, if you've never had to stand in front of 20 cameras with 50 reporters hounding you and addressed criticism impromptu then you have no ideal. I can guarantee you could be made to sound like an idiot at times.

His language is northern nurtured, mid-west and southern influenced coach-speak, it's actually very cool.

But what he says and how he says it is irrelevant; 51-14, 4-1 Bowls, 2-0 BCS and 1-0 in BCSNC is relevant.

passing stats were not good in my opinion but defense always matures faster than offense

Jefferson under 50% passing, only 80+ yard passing with 21 attempts, no TDs and he was sacked 4 times. Sounds like another year of an atrocious offense. But hey, let's blame the wind, maybe it won't blow on gamedays in the fall.

Gave up 4 sacks to d-linemen today... not a great start

4 sacks in 130 snaps...That's acceptable.

Playing the excuse game again. THat is all.
Let's see - will the young QB BS work this year? Not unless you are really dense.
HOw about the inexperienced OL? Sounds like a winner
Maybe the inexperienced DL works when we get no pressure on the QB again too?
About what we should except from a coach that is Houston Nutt's b-tch for 3 years against teams with inferior talent.

So you think some thing like this would be cool:

-We enyoy playing R-Kansas every year and we have a want to beat them, especially last year, when we beat R-Kansas toward the back end of the game.

What about the SEC record of 8-8 (last 2 years). Is that relevant too?

What about LM's record of 0-6 against H. Nutt, N. Saban and Urban M. (last 2 years). Is it relevant too???

Guess you took a picture of that cr-p you use everyday.
Face it - the entire country knows MIles is a fool. Most LSU fans know it too.

all the reports i've been hearing is how much better jefferson has been lately.

a mediocre scrimmage from him is the least of my worries

is the O-line going to be able to play hard this year and make for a running game?

THAT's what concerns me.

sounds like they are.

You don't notice anything weird here?

How we were very good around the time Nick Saban left?

And now how we appear to be tailing off a bit?

Am I missing the big picture here?

Claiborne is only starting because he is older than Mathieu
