He struck out mightily in the portal. It happens. The good news is when JJ hits, he really hits in the portal. I am disappointed that we didn’t find an elite portal catcher knowing Arambide was a liability behind the plate.

Jay had and spent money on the portal he just spent it poorly. That was not on Woodward or Verge!
We moved the bull pens underneath the bleachers added premium seating. He has a world class weight room, pitching lab and batting cages ect. Only thing he could want is a better stadium facility, but the players dont give a shite it the bathroom is 115 degrees and they only have Miller lite in the rightfield by the playground.

LSU baseball roster isn’t lacking in money spent.
