I feel like next year will be really telling for yeskie. there has been so little oppertunity to develop pitchers year to year.

between last year and this year we returned 6 total pitchers

1 is a possible top 3 pick
1 is out for the year
2 barely pitched at all the last 2 years because of injuries
1 isnt great but was way worse last year
1 is jsut not going to pitch I guess.

Anderson and Primeaux actually
improved from last year a decent amount (Primeaux has a lot a lot of room to improve)

Next year hopefully we return Evans, Williams, Schmidt, Rizy who if they take a that step forward would be a solid core to the staff

Those guys are just idiots with penis envy. They can't recognize what they are seeing and emotionally respond like children not getting what they want.

Not to mention the second inning collapse against Little Rock in the Monday Night game.

Dude, it's fkn baseball, get over yourself. It's not easy. It's an imperfect game with high margins of error and low success rates. They played nearly two perfect games and had a hiccup game and ONE fkn hiccup inning on Monday. The fkn guy hadn't really thrown in a couple of weeks and couldn't get out of the inning so fkn what!!!

What about the other 8 innings that we won?? GFY crybaby

Baseball be like that sometimes. The bullpen has been lights out for the last few weeks. I'm sure Yeskie and JJ weren't asking them to throw balls and keep making pitching changes and asking to do the same.

shite happens. Has was the bullpen the other 3 games?

I don't know why people think college bullpens are going to be full of dudes throwing up zeros and not walking batters.

Griffin Herring was not the norm, that’s for sure.

That’s not embarrassing; that happens in baseball all the time.

The question I have is did these guys throw strikes in high school or did they walk a lot? I understand that they are probably learning to hit spots, but eventually you just tell them to throw strikes wouldn’t you? I mean a guy throwing 98-100 will be hard enough to hit regardless of where the pitch is. Maybe just let them throw strikes sometimes.
