Matt Moscona is telling callers who are glad that they are acting like "pissed off teenagers". Meanwhile, Moscona is arguing with them in beyond typical fashion. Something about this really gets Matt's goat and he's being quite short about how stupid people are to want to have Jennings off the team.

I mean, I am not glad hes' gone...but both sides are being irrational.

whoops, put Harris instead of Etling by accident, walk away, and get 51 downvotes

...is also a dumb opinion.

Best wishes to Anthony. Hope he can go to a school where he can get some playing time. I think/hope our QB lineup is in a better place that it has been for the last few years.

Guess he had really fallen down the depth chart.

Dumb comment. Didnt make since to waste a senior yr as a number 2.

Etling is 2nd string, this is not surprising. Good riddance and good luck, Anthony.

Never understood dumb arse comments like this.

If you owned
A) I don't "own" LSU football, and it's success or failure is neither my responsibility nor a factor in my financial outcomes.
quote:

a company
B) LSU football isn't a company. It's a football program, led by a head coach with a staff of assistants and support personnel trying to help a group of outstanding kids be successful at football, school and life.
quote:

and had an employee
C) Jennings wasn't an employee, he was a player on a football team that apparently gave his best effort to help the team be successful, made some very notable direct contributions to that success, and has decided another path is best now.
quote:

who was supposed to come in and deliver
D) "Supposed" by whom? You?
quote:

results
E) What kind of "results"? And again, according to whom? Did you recruit him? Did he sign an LOI with you?
quote:

yet fell flat of expectations
F) I can only guess you meant to say, "fell short of expectations". So of whose expectations did he fall short?
quote:

and made several costly mistakes
G) Obviously everyone does, so this is a fairly meaningless point.
quote:

you would be relieved to see him go
H) That would depend on a lot of factors, and basically none of them would be as subjective, nebulous, and unsupported as what you listed here. And, of course, neither the factors you listed nor the factors I would use in a hypothetical situation as owner of a company with an employee are in any way remotely applicable to the situation at hand, with Anthony Jennings transferring from LSU.

Good luck Anthony. Thanks for the work and, of course, that thrilling win over Arkansas.

Thank God. As Trump says, " get him out of here!".
Never understood why our fans feel the need to kick players half their age while they're already down.

Looks like he is getting a degree in three years. Good for him and good luck. AJ wasn't a SEC caliber QB, Welter and Louis were not SEC LB's. The fact that they had to play was the problem. They did their best and will always be Tigers.

no such thing as "SEC Caliber QB". Its a running back league. Stop talking as if the SEC requires great quarterbacking
