Put it in context. He made no poor decisions with the ball. He ran the second O against the first d.

Mett looked shittastic with the first o against the second d.

Don't get me wrong. Mett is our starter, unquestioned. Jennings is the best option we have at backup.

(option... Get it? It's a pun.)

Yes, all quarterbacks who can run are bad.

I doesn't like the banhammer. It hurts when it makes contact with the head.

Holy shite.

This QB favoritism will ruin the next few years on the Rant. It's painfully obvious some people see what they want to see.

All I can say is Rivers looked great in the spring game. We are blessed to finally have quality depth. Let things just play itself out before anointing the next superman. Remember last year all we heard was Mettsiah. Where did those people go?

Thats the problem with setting sights too high before anyone faces stiff competition.

It doesn't. But when we offered him, He was an after thought. It was Rettig everyone was excited about. People thought JJ was Miles lil pet, that he wanted a running qb and that we would run the option until the fans puked in their fricking seats.

Not for me, didn't get into looking at recruits til January, but I definitely liked the way AJ played over Rettig. Very calm in the pocket (not erractic and trigger happy), and always looked downfield to throw first. After watching Mett the year prior, It was like damn, we gotta have that mobility and elite pocket presence.

Then the guy's accurate too! We haven't had accuracy like that in a while. Rettig looked like a spread QB who thrived in that system. I'm glad that we have Cam to teach him in a pro system.

They've moved on to Jennings. The hype machine never slows down.
