My thoughts:

Masson smith did have a few solid moments taking on double teams but he is still has a bad a wheel. Did anyone notice wingo in coverage in the red zone. That’s bad arse man there.

Red zone defense was very good.

Daniels was fine. I think several times the wr was either interfered with or stumbled out of their breaks. He wasn’t as bad as I thought live.

Lbs in coverage are the problem. Dbs really only had one maybe two blown assignments. Coverage was there and their tall wrs just made great plays. Hogs have the tallest wrs lsu will see. Dbs will be fine.

Special teams has vastly improved.

I am starting to like this teams potential. Kj is probably the best qb lsu will see in sec play. He has a ton of experience and is actually much better then people give him credit.

Let’s Geaux!

where did you see ST improve?

I saw they didn't know the rules of the punt crossing the endzone which is discouraging.

Fg kicking is solid. Punt coverage was solid. The players on that play didn’t realize the ball had crossed. It was a bang bang great effort.

Agree with just about everything you said. The biggest issue I have is with the DE's crashing inside and giving up containment. Extended a lot of plays for KJ which resulted in big gains/TD. This needs o be corrected. Jones has not shown me anything all year except for a play here and there.

I’m gonna be honest, I thought our linebackers were terrible more than I thought our DBs sucked. Sure, Alexander let whitey drift down the sideline for that TD, but it was our linebackers who were nonexistent in coverage and run support all night.

Gregg Penn was bad in both, but at least I could identify who the culprit was because he was at least around the ball. Weeks did well blitzing and made some plays in run support, but a lot of times he was nonexistent.

That’s why I didn’t mention punt return. Just coverage. Which lsu did punt a lot early.

Are you being serious? He was just fine?

According to this board he was garbage early. He wasn’t. That’s what I meant. He had 2 bad throws. One should have been caught.

Watch the game again. There were blatant pi calls that should have happened. Under thrown slightly but one he was getting slight pressure. Great throw.

You were harshly overreacting to a couple bad plays if you thought the SEC Offensive POTW was just "fine"

They did a bad job of tracking the ball in the air. Should’ve caught the ball in the air but that’s not an easy play.

He struggled early but was great the rest of the game.

Linebackers and safeties are atrocious in coverage. Not sure why House couldn’t adjust and put a corner on their tight end. Burns and Penn got abused

This is not true. DBs struggled in pass coverage for most the night. Blown assignments are not the tell tale sign of bad coverage. On one of the RPOs our DBs did not bump over and made for an easy completion. Zy blew a coverage and Burns was beat in coverage several times.

Linebackers had a few plays where coverage was an issue, the two point conversion and the last touchdown but the DBs were the main problem in pass coverage. And if you think otherwise then you don't know what you are looking at.

What game did you watch? The DB’s did not struggle ALL night! Like the OP said, a few mistakes were made that can be corrected. We will continue to improve and most of you need to relax with your catastrophe syndrome. The season is still early and we have time to improve

I like the physical nature Denver Harris brings to table. The touchdown he gave up at the back of the endzone was a great catch plain and simple. I think Harris will get better and better and please let these db's play up on their guys that 10 yard off the receivers has to end.

Arkansas' offense is really good and that was a known coming into the season. Their D is what holds them back. KJ was out last year when we played and that hurt them substantially bec they have no backup like we do in Nuss. Their OL is very experienced and older and BIG. That TE was highly recruited and did an excellent job of finding the creases in House's zone. KJ's ability to run and shake off tackles made that easier for them.

Secondary has a lot of work to do, obviously, but that was a damn good offense we just played. I sincerely doubt we see an offense like that until the SECCG if we get there. OM is close but they aren't as good as ARK. Dart can sling it, but their OL isn't anywhere near as good and he is much easier to tackle.
