No, I think that was a good call. Why?? Because the left fielder has to make a better throw. Greater chance of throwing into the base line. But I'm not the expert, everyone else has that title.

The OP is correct. You never make the 1st or 3rd out at home plate or 3rd base.

It's clear the aggressiveness comes from Jay and is not a solo decision by Jordan.
Last night with Braun on 3rd he didn't go on a flyout to LF and Jay went nuts on him and Jordan. Next batter flies out to CF, a little shallower, and he went and scored.
