He just said that TM7 is the best player in America right now and is on the top of his Heisman Trophy list.

Trent Richardson should be one of the top as well...only behind TM7 of course.

He might be but he will not have the quantifiable stats that an Andrew Luck or Trent Richardson will have which is a shame really.

If TM7 wants to have a realistic chance at winning the heisman what kind of stats will he need to have when the season ends?

Insane punt and kick return stats. I don't see him as a WR like Charles Woodson. Soon it will be like PP7 where teams just don't throw to his side therefore he doesn't get the opportunities for stats.

If he gets 4 more forced fumbles in the next few games, then he'll be the all-time record holder (13 in a career is the record now), and the current record holder played in 48 games. He's played in what... 18 now?

if he continues to force turnovers and even get a couple of more TDs, he's in the race...some special teams flash wouldn't hurt. Hell the only team he is not in on is field goal and offense

He will definately need a couple of punt returns. One in a critical part of a game would be perfect.

He'll just have to have some huge moments ala Charles Woodson.

A PR for a TD or a Pick 6 against Bama to win a game type moment or two...

If he keeps up his current ridiculous pace, and gets a moment or two...he'll be in NY. Which would be REALLY cool nonetheless.

He would need an all-time great season as a DB. Not just breaking LSU records but national records. Is he on kickoff and FG blocks? If not, that'd be a great spot to put him.

He needs to start returning the ball for TDs.

LINK

He's already on pace for a better year and more TDs than Woodson, without ever playing on offense.

I think the punt coverage against Oregon was one of those "Charles Woodson" moments.

If he gets a TD against Bama and maybe again in the SECCG, he'll be taking a trip to New York.

If he keeps up his current rate, and RGIII/Luck stumble... he'll be bringing a souvenir home.

Season record or career?

Career...

Every other person who has 9 or the guy that has 13 for the record have done it in at least twice the games as TM7. It's pretty damn ridiculous.

No player has not made the impact as he has so far this season in the different aspects of the game.
