That said, I think Les Miles is an 8-5 type coach who gravytrained the program Nick Saban built into a National Championship.
Brilliant. Miles wins the National Title in his third year. How did Michigan State do in yr 3 after St Nick ?

If an "outsider" can see this, why can't the ones that are closer to LSU? Seems like they're the blind fools.
Miles' big hat has a hypnotic effect on the positigers that makes them believe he is an elite coach and allows him to continue making big $$$$ for the time being.

your thread isn't half as bad as most of the LSU fans threads, but you do understand you are the enemy, don't you? don't mess with our tigers, man.

u seriously want to compare the redheaded step child MSU to the LSU program that Miles INHERITED?

hey vol, Miles will finish in top five in recruiting this year and already has 2 5 stars commits for 2011. Who needs coach zero. So you better worry about you loud mouth coach.

Hey Tiger, We'll finish number 1 in recruiting this year, thanks in large part to O.

Yea,I sure do. You Sabanistas think just through osmosis Miles won the NC. If Saban is so magical, why did Michigan State bomb right after he left ? Northwestern won two Big 10 titles while Saban was up there and he didn't win won. Why didn't Bobby Williams win big with all of "Saban's players" ?

So any decent coach can go to a program with alot of talent and easily win 11 games three years in a row, in the SEC no less? Is this what you're seriously saying?

because MSU is MSU. keep up with the redheaded stepchild argument. Saban is doing a pretty shitty job with Bama too now. Fear da Hat

Who said that ? But according to you just having "Saban's players" = titles. Why didn't that happen at Michigan State ?

quote:he inherited a winning PROGRAM = popularity, players, power to recruit, etc. LSU wasn't so hot before Saban came.
But according to you just having "Saban's players" = titles.
quote:again, MSU can't outrecruit Michigan instate. its not that great of a school to have success. Saban built up LSU, and is doing it at Bama.
Why didn't that happen at Michigan State ?

Wow, how can I argue with someone who knows their stuff as well as you do. Way to argue our points.

Yeah, I guess we would have landed Brandon Willis and Corey Miller with Chavis and Brooks too.
Yeah, b/c when Chavis was there, he never had any talent on the DL.

Miles=Coker
If I give u a Maserati you can drive it around for a while and it may look good and work fine, but don't maintain it and it could turn to shite.

LSU has an abundance of talent, save the OL. You guys are recruiting lights out, with Loston, Davenport, Randle, Tolliver, Jones, Peterson, Shepard, etc.
You should have stopped there. Who do you think is recruiting all this talent? It sure as hell isn't little Nicky and the staff changes were given great grades by anyone without an axe to grind. Speaking of staff changes...can you say, "Death Penalty."

We get it. You love Nick Saban and LSU will always suck forever because no one can equal him in your heart.

Awesome and I'm not the least bit surprised. Instead of coming up with your own argument and actually thinking, just steal someone elses.
Look up Coker's recruiting classes and then get back to us.
