...and LSU has beaten Alabama 9 of the last 13 meetings. Basically in the BCS era, which I consider modern college football and modern SEC football, LSU has owned Alabama.

Or else you will run into Bama/ Saban again and what the frick are they going to then?

Because all those great passing teams have the formula for beating Bama? Even Gumps think you are stoopid.

Yea... How many "passing" teams beat Bama last year?

How many rushing teams?

OK.

Bama's pass defense > Bama's run defense

Both were the best I have ever witnessed in person at a college football game.

It's pretty hard to lose when you hold a team to less than 100 yrds rushing.

Forgive me. Unless JJ's involved.

I bet we are undefeated when we pass for more than a 100 yards

That would only be about 50% of the time in 2010

So does it matter how much LSU passes if it continues to win?

See AU 2010. LSU 128 pass yds vs AU 86 pass yds.
You bet, what do I win?

Hell yeah it does. The offense was a one-trick pony last year.

But they still won 13 games.

You would rather see the ball in the air than to see LSU on top of the final score? You would be happy of LSU passed more, but lost games?

Interesting.

LSU is 43-0 when rushing for over 100 yards and holding its opponent under 100 yards rushing.

No shite, guess what we do when we're throttling teams? run the clock down, and they're passing.

I'm sure most teams have impressive records within those same rushing parameters.

But yet we went 13-1, 9-0, got in the BCSCG for the 2nd time in 5 yrs, and finished #2 in the nation.

Damn strong coaching job for the year to do that with a "one-trick pony" offense, huh.

Pretty much the truth although both were really good.
See LSU and GSU games.
