Yes. Starting on Thursday has happened several times in he past few years.

I could have sworn all SEC series started on Thursday Easter weekend. Did it use to be that way?

It's up to the home team on Easter weekend when they want to start the series. For some reason, Tennessee always plays on Easter Sunday at home.
